I am proud to be partnering with Covenant House New York to provide critical funds to support youth experiencing homelessness in NYC. My goal is to donate $2,200 toward toward youth transportation needs.
I’m doing this in honor of my mother, who passed away last week, and who supported me at every turn. Some young people have nobody. Covenant House is helping! Just seven art-loving purchasers would meet my goal to support them and the young people they lift up.
Covenant House New York is so much more than a shelter, the organization provides affirming and transformative services so each young person can create their own path to independence. CHNY doors are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I have become familiar with them through my friend, Vesna Selmanovic.
The print which I am selling in this effort is"Sacred Space: Days of Tenderness.” It is about healing from loss and grief, in the company of others. Sales will 100% support Covenant House New York in their work. (I will happily provide proof.)
