The Things We Take With Us, Melissa Hefferlin

A hardback book presenting 20 years of paintings from American-born Melissa Hefferlin. Beautifully crafted by British designer Oli Price of Komodo Creative, the book contains 126 pages with more than 100 paintings. Tamera Muente, freelance writer and associate curator at the Taft Museum of Art, wrote an illuminating forward. The artist includes an essay about her studies at the Russian Academy in St. Petersburg Russia at the end of the Cold War. This is a small-run publication.
