Covenant House Fundraiser "Sacred Space: Days of Tenderness" Hand-Pulled print
All proceeds of sales of seven prints going to Covenant House New York. It is my goal (with your help) to raise $2100 towards public transportation passes for over twenty youths to travel to their work and educational opportunities within NYC.
This year, terminal illness entered my family, bringing with it an unexpected privilege—the deep gratitude for the love I have received from my energetic, unwavering, and ever-supportive mother.
The weeks spent with her, in rotation with my generous sisters, are weeks I will forever cherish. I wanted to honor this sacred space—this time by her side—with an image that captures the quiet connection of approaching life’s end in the company of love. Though this image is personal, depicting my mother’s room, her front yard, and my sisters resting in the distance, I hope it resonates with those who have walked this path before me. It is a visual prayer of gratitude, a tribute to love, and a reflection of honor.
Hand-pulled linoleum print, edition of 50. Image size 12 × 12 inches, plus border. Ink on hand-made Kozo paper (Japanese mulberry bark).
The print will come to you rolled, unframed.
